On a 225 what is the redline or rpm max that you dont want to exceed?

well keep going until it flys apart, then when you put a new motor in it, don't go that far and you should be fine.

A stock 1bbl 225 will run out of breath before redline.............

A little past 4000 is no problem.

You'll never get there if the prop is properly matched to the engine and hull combination.

In a 2400 lb drag car my stock engine would pull to about 4400 rpm and quit to much drag and friction. Never had a problem after 5000 rounds. of drag racing. Thanks Ron Parker :D

Panic likes to edit his posts after the fact and than the thread does make much sence.

Yes, it's that annoying tendency to remove material that answered the question, only to see...

the same question asked again.

If you're not going to read it, I won't answer it.

You're obviously a bright dude. Some of your information can be over the heads of some, but to others its good information. Editing your text to remove it is a bit selfish to the ones that do understand.
No body likes it when you take the ball home (if this were a game). Leave the ball so we can kick it around.
