Hello Folks, as I get into the racing stuff more, I would like to know what the proper jet selections would be in relationship to atomespheric conditions.

When it gets hotter - Leaner / Richer?

When it gets More humid - Leaner / Richer?

Thanks,

Greg

When there is less oxygen to use in combustion, you need less jet (leaner). When the air is hot or more humid or you are at higher altitude, the air has less oxygen density.

The only thing I have to add is that humidity adds to the barometric pressure so humid air at the same pressure has less oxygen and therefore requires less fuel. Hot, humid and low barometric pressure all need less fuel. This is why you need a wet bulb thermometer and a barometer to really nail your dial-in.
