Hi Dave, Kurby, Richard , Seymour: We need a update on last weeks slant6 racing at Woodburn, Oregon. How did the new frame work on your station wagon? Was Kurby available to cook breakfast? Did Seymour make it okay? How did Glenn with his "Killer Bee" Dart do? A full report is needed..take care, Wayne in Chico

Well, Kurby was there for breakfast, Seymour made it from Minnesota (he drove his car, & it was well packed) took 3 days to come out, leasure
driving, Site seeing etc. Daves new frame seemed to work good, nice looking new paint, interior. He pulls the front wheels up on launch (I've got a run on tape, soon as I get it on site will be able to let everyone see it). Daves son, Brandon was there with his car. Doug (not Dutra) had his car. Glenn and his "Killer Bee" was a real kick to clown around with. I don't remember the young guy from Salem with his car (stock 170 ci), my old memory. His dad is the former president of the slant six club.

Brandon had experienced a blown head gasket, CRAP luck.

Dave ran in the 11's
Red lite in the elimenations, :(

Doug also found the Red lite, :(

Seymour was taken out, the last 3 cars were the 170ci stock, he ran 21.531 @ 64.37. Glenns "Killer Bee" 16.00 dial, and my beast 15.80 dial.

Glenn got the single, I got a Red lite win from the 170ci car

Just leaves the "Killer Bee" and the Beast, and two OLD GUYS driving, Well Glenn got beat by .0048 sec.

We all had a great time, wish more were there with us.

Hi Richard: I heard from Glenn that you cut a little better light and that it was a great final race. We have firm commitments of about 12 cars or more for Redding on August 26-27. Next year both of our races will have major sponsorship and good money payouts all the way from lst to 8th place. Why not give us Northern Calif. boys a chance at you at Redding? I know you have family plans for this race but please try to make it in 2007. Paul will be their to represent the racers from Eugene. Take care, Wayne in Chico

Daves wagon is NOT on NOS or supercharged in any way, it is a normally asperated, is injected (not EFI). So try that on for size :D
