Is there a tool/socket to remove the oil pressure sender. I woould like to remove mine without using vice grips, the sender works fine I just want to add a tee for an oil line for my turbo... pictures soon |

yes, i don't have a part number or anything, but i'm sure you could pick one up at NAPA or someplace. you can sometimes get away with using a large socket. -james |

You should be able to get a socket at most any parts store. |

I went to Napa today to purchased there Oil pressure sender socket. They had 3 differant ones but they were all wrong. A std. socket dosent really work.... |

I used a 1 1/16 deep socket for removal and install of a new sending unit. Previous owner plumbed in a much smaller threaded one and disconnected it because it kept the light on. Corr ect size works as advertised! |

I got the oil sender out. I used a 1" six sided socket, a 12 sided socket or a box end wrench would slip. One more try this morning and just by luck I picked up a 6 sided socked and it came out just fine... oil for my turbo! |
