| Post subject: | darn windshield wipers |
well today i was driving along and all the sudden my wipers stopped working..not cool with this ernesto storm hovering over PA. i turn them on and i do hear the relay and hear the motors actually working..im curious if this has happened to any1 else and do u think maybe the arm that controls the wiper might of snapped? and if so is it gonna be a pain in the a$$ to repair? all replies appreciated. thanks |

If the motor is working, but the wipers are not, it is probably the linkage bushings. These bushing are available from auto parts stores under the "Help/MotorMite" brand. Most Dodge/Chrysler dealers, also stock the bushings. This is a case where I recommend spending more money, and going to the dealer. Over the last several years the aftermarket quality of the parts has gone downhill, and the dealer parts are better. |
