I took the Maverick pie-tin off today. It was choking the induction off too much; I couldn't get the secondaries to open up.
Put the open air filter set-up back on, and finally got a bog from the secondaries. Backed off to the short yellow spring, and went out for a bit of a drive and fill up. No more bog, plenty of secondary.
Anyway it ran out very well, pulls well up to 4500 RPM, and shifts hard and crisp. Nothing left of the cam past 4500.
2300 RPM at 55. Wound it up above 4000 RPM in the boondocks.
Started feeling the inadequacies in the roadbed, so slowed to a leisurely 50 mph cruise on the way home. Lot's of throttle response now.Time to get DusterIdiot over for some performance testing!
