Post subject:  F-body Aspen rear sway bar?

Has anybody ever tried a rear sway bar kit on their daily driver cars? Seems like my Aspen could be helped by one from comparing it to my '77 Cordoba with one, on these back Ohio roads. Or is it the nature of the beast for F-bodies? My Aspen has a leaf added right under the main spring on both sides already. But seems like it just wants to roll over too much into turns and on/off ramps. I'm not road racing here just normal daily commute type stuff. Though the long sweeping off ramp to work can be fun!

About ten years ago I owned a 76 Volare premiere that I bought out of a junkyard and completely rebuilt the suspension to heavy duty specs. I swapped in a k-frame, front sway bar, and torsion bars from a station wagon, swapped in station wagon rear axle and springs, and installed a factory rear sway bar from an aspen cop car. The improvement in handling from adding that rear sway bar was amazing. I strongly recommend it.

All 81-83 Imperials had rear sway bars as well as some F and M Bodies (mostly in HD suspensions and cop cars).

I have got me a Sway bar on my 79 volare off of a Cop Diplomat - Get a Dippy with one of the bars and get all of the pieces - They are a bolt in ordeal.

Just be sure to get the shock plates too.

Smoothes out the roll in the exit ramps a lot.
