Hey Folks I just got me a 20 ton Shop Press, and I pressed out some old piston pins on some spare rods from donor motors. Question is Does it hurt the side of the piston if I am pressing against it? Should I put a 1" socket under it as to not hurt the side of the piston when doing this? Thanks, Greg |

You can hurt them, but the mopar pistons are pretty tough though. If you wish to save the pistons make a jig out of aluminum to saddle & support the piston, they sell them but easy to make one. Jess |
