I've looked and asked around at shows and searched the net but to no avail. So please tell me I'm blind and let me know who has rear quarter repair panels for my beloved Aspens/Volares. :shrug: |

I don't know who makes them but Ive seen aftermarket ones pop up on Ebay for both 2 and (yuk) 4 door models. I got mine from another member here, cut offs from a parts car that were better than mine. then again I don't need whole quarters, just the lowermost sections below the body line, behind the wheels. I have seen my share of these cars that the front section ahead of the wheelwells are shot. I'm in the middle of a rotisserie resto of an 80 2 door Volare myself. Its finally hitting the body shop next weekend for those rear lower quarters and the rockers to be sectioned in along with painting the bottom and the cowl. Oh yeah; If you can find a nice set of rockers GET THEM! Thats one department where the aftermarket fails bad on these cars; yes they show replacement ones for the F bodys, but neither Sherman or Keystone actually comes close to actually FITTING. Even if they sit in the attic a while youll be glad you got them while the getting was good once you need a set. |
