Oh that sweet sound of my motor idling in the garage!! Thanks for all help and patience with my questions this week! I have a 56 Dodge D100 pick-up with a 73 Slant six motor I will post pictures when I figure out how Thanks again Jim

I had a 56 Dodge about 40 years ago. Not a slant though nor a pickup. It had a 315 V8 with a two speed push button auto. My dad bought a 56 Dodge new with a 270 V8 and overdrive tranny. He also later had a 58 Dodge pickup that had the 315 also. The pickup had car like rear quarterpanels complete with tailfins! But I digress.

That new engine purr is a sweet sound! Good luck!
