Is a high-volume fuel pump overkill for a Super Six? My thinking is yes, but I was surprised to find a Holley 14 psi pump listed for the slant (or does it use a standard V8 pump?). Just wondering what everybody else is using... |

The stock replacement pump is good to at least 225HP, and I have gotten into the low 14s in a 3000lb car with the stocker. I would wait until you make some serious power to upgrade. Lou |

My car is Super 6 ......Comp 264, big valves, 9.25CR , Carter BBD .....I run out of cfm long before I run out of fuel. A 14 lb pump without a fuel prssure reg will wreak havoc on a Super 6. |
