Howdy,

This one's for our historians, here're the plates from El Toad. All I have is the factory manual, and that tells me she started life as a white "high" (que esse?) suburban made in "L.A." (Van Nuys plant?).

Whatever information you might glean from these will be appreciated.

Also there's an odd stamping above the Y in the alphabet string that is illegible from the front. From the back it could be LL & something, L & something, a large B, or something else entirely. It doesn't seem to be accidental but neither does it seem to be appropriate, any ideas? Sorry 'bout the size on this one, I thought it might help.











ps. I see that last photo is linked to the larger one at Village. I have no idea how I did that. I've been trying to figure out how to do it for a bit, preferably making the posted link photo a smaller size as well. Perhaps someone would show me this procedure?
