I want to start running NGK plugs in my '64 225 slant. I believe type ZFR5N. Can anybody help me out with the gap?
Thanks,
Tom

What ignition? If stock 0.035, hei or msd and better coil, you can do 0.040 or 0.045.

The blaster 2 coil I have - in its default mounting location under alternator, if you leave the coil wire out, it will arc to the block.

Sorry, it's a stock ignition. Still running points.

Yep, ZFR5N, without the metal ring washer (remove it from each plug). Gap 0.035" with points.
