I finally got the part for my choke but I'm having trouble seeing how it goes together... Is there a link in between the choke stat and the actual choke lever on the carb?

Can somebody post a picture of the correct install and location of the choke?

Thats a 1969 BBD of a 318 on my factory Super6 '79 Aspen. But I took the factory choke shaft out of the orignal '79 carb and installed it in the '69 carb so its a factory hookup on the choke rod. Sorry its a little blurry I should have used the close up feature on the camera. Let me know if its not clear enough for you I can snap another if need be.

Does the rod on the choke stat hook up directly to the lever on the carb? Or is there another piece in between? That's what I can't see or figure out... If there is a linkage or clip I need to see that and how it hooks up...

Thanks for the picture though

Turns out the only reason I couldn't get it was it was stuck from being over extended the wrong direction! Once I popped it loose it all made sense and went right in... so easy, boy do I feel dumb...
