I have this header on my slant which comes down into two 2.5" collectors. What kind of exhaust system should I put on it? Dual pipes running out the back, or the two back into one big pipe? Pipe diameters or muffler recommendations?

Any idea if there is a problem fitting this header on a 1975 dart? I see it only lists applications through 1972...

I see they also list it as fitting the Valiant from 62-71. I sure wouldn't bet on that. I would think it will fit the 75 Dart better then a 65 Valiant.

Those headers fit '67-76 A bodies and F bodies W/O power brakes. The #6 tube will hit the booster.

Exhaust type will depend on how good your muffler shop is with the pipe bender.

My Scamp is a '73 and there was no fitment problems. There seems like plenty of room too. Im sure it would fit up to '76s.

Thanks ya'll, thats what I figured but I figured I would double check. I've finally settled (I think) on not pulling the slant in place of a big block. I definately want something unique (hey, its a completely shaved, mini-tubbed, air ride, 4-link, etc) 4 door car...whats more unique to finish off the 4 door custom cruiser than a sick looking slant!

Good choice, anybody can build a big block & stuff it in. I like being different, and just think of all the Ricer/Honda guys you can teach a few things when its done.

To answer your question about finishing the exhaust system (and having something different) take a look at this site. I would stay with 2.50" pipe all the way back and use two medium or long power sticks for a true dual system. Check his F.A.Q page. I'm not saying you will get the early 60's MoPar rumble of a V8 but it will get you some attention and you will have a true low restriction exhaust. Or, go with some Red Hot glass packs upstream and use the power sticks closer to the exhaust tips.
