Just an early heads up, so you can plan for it. Already confirmed. Memorial Day weekend, 2007. Mopar Southern Nationals, Valdosta, Ga. Mopar engine in Mopar car, including "orphans", SIMCA INCLUDED ![]() Free enty in Slant Six, with paid entry in regular bracket. More details to follow at a later date. In 2006 we had 12 cars show up, and 10 for 1st round. Lets see if we can do better in 2007 |

Hey Charrlie! I may try to make the Valdosta race. It can be my annual trip back to the states to do "car stuff". We are planning a trip back for Christmas 2007 as our "family vacation home", but after spending so much car time during our last "family vacation" I need to separate the two! ![]() |

Hope to see you there. The "Gods Rods" duster was running good in 2006. Now is the time to get the boys working on improvements, for 2007. Don't have all the details, yet, but understand the admission to the track will be reduced, and some of the payouts larger. Also it will be a "MOPAR" only meet, not "Mopar against the world". |

Unfortunately, all of the 2003-2004/6 GodsRods kids have now graduated and gone to college or other things. The Duster is definitely further along now (20.60 down to 15.85 with tire spin). It's back in storage in Stockbridge hoping for another team of folks to play with it. Any takers out there?.....If it's still sitting there around Memorial Day 2007 I'll do what I can to drag it out again and make the race. I'll have to enlist some help to get it ready before the race though. I won't have as much time away from Germany next year. The first annual Valdosta Slant 6 Race turned out really well I thought. I'm looking forward to next year. |

Sorry guys I don't think I am going to be able to make it this year. I doubt I will have my Duster fixed by then. Trying to split my time between work/school/Miata is proving to be a pain in the a@#. I am saving up my money so I can go to Deals Gap NC in July. I don't have any extra to put into the Duster right now. |

All I need is pretty much a stock engine that doesn't smoke or knock and runs nice. My old one lasted 200,000 hard miles. I have found a few but they are too far down in Florida. |
