I found a BBS on a mid '80's van (obviously a conversion from lean burn) in a wrecking yard the other day. I got it, but can't find a rebuild kit for it at Napa or Shucks. What application should I ask for so I know I'm getting the right kit? Dosn't look like the carb. has any emisions ports on it other than the PCV nipple. Thanks for any help...would like to play around with it this weekend. |

Is there a tag with a number on it? |

NAPA Echlin 2-5500 or (preferably) Standard-Hygrade 1636, or (even more preferably) Walker 15483A. Tried to contact you a couple times while I was in Seattle, no reply. *shrug* |

I have a BBS kit from Holley, and the number says 15483A. Let me know if interested. |

Thanks guys. Bill, I'll let you know if I can't find anything locally. Dan, you have a PM (shortly). ![]() |

Nevermind. I "found" the carburetor by calling around and was told over the phone what the guy thought it was. Well, it was a Holley1945 on the counter when I got there. Nice. No thanks! Last time I listen to somebody over the phone....feel like an idiot. ![]() |
