Well, the time has come to get my Dodge Demon on the road and to the track. After having the car torn apart & sitting in the garage for 2 years now, I am diving into this thing full force. Now that I got my 73 Dart back on the road after 1 1/2 years, I will now have time to finish this project up. The car is now just a shell sitting on jackstands. The car will have a built 225, 4-speed with a 8 3/4 rear and disk brake conversion. Will post pics to show you guys what I'm up against. The car will require a complete restoration. |

I pulled the seats and the original rubber floor mat out of the Demon last night. The rear floor pans are rock solid, but the front pans have the usual water leak damage. I will order and replace the front pans and ditch the rubber mat for a new carpet. |

Nows when the FUN starts I often wonder why I am working so hard on my truck then I realize it is not for the trophies (yeah they are nice) but it really is to have something that is mine and different from the crowd because I built it my way. Have fun and post pics! |

I got all the parts to start installing my rear springs. New poly bushings, shackles, front spring hangers and KYB shocks all around. I want to get the rearend installed first so I can at least roll the car around, but I am having trouble finding a 8 3/4 rear. I still have the idea of installing a turbo now that I am learning more about them, but thats still a while down the road. |

I also picked up a cast iron OD transmission, bellhousing, shifter, rods and dust covers from a private yard a few weeks before the holidays. My Demon is an original 3 speed floor shift car so I now have everything I need. |
