Just thought I'd share my car with you guys. I just got the new engine together and its runs great. specs are 1972 225ci 0.060" balanced and blueprinted bottom end with ARP main studs, head studs and rod bolts. Fully ported and polished head with stainless 1.78 intake and 1.50 exhaust valves. Custom ground comp cam 0.541/0.556 lift with matching springs. Super charger store slant six procharger kit, P-1SC procharger running 8 PSI boost. 650 holley by performance carburetor. Driveline is a 904 automatic with v8 internals, shift kit, first gear ratio change and a 3500 stall converter. Also a 8 3/4 rear with 3.91 sure-graip out back with hoosier quick time pros. Haven't had a cance to run it down the track yet but will hopefully in a week or two. What a really great looking car! I think that the plumbing on it cost more than what I just paid for my whole Valiant. Is that the stock radiator, if so, how does it do at keeping her cool? Russ |

VERY clean blower kit. Did you get pretty much everything that was needed in the kit? Really dug the video you have up, too, but that blower whine is a dead giveaway. Roger |

Yes I do have the stock rad in the car, I had the rad recored to a 3 core rad and the car runs nice and cool doesn't get too much higher than 180 deg. As far as the kit itself, it was all complete with everything you need to bolt it on, hoses, vacuum lines clamps etc. The electric fuel pump and regulator was extra $305 if I recall and also you need to purchase a blowthrough carburetor. I am very pleased with the carburetor from Performance Carburetor it was setup very well right out of the box |

The pictures that I have on the track are from a month a ago and I was running my old motor in the car as well as a stock transmission and converter, same rear end. I just got the procharger motor up and running within the last few days. I haven't had a chance to run it down the track yet with the procharger motor. My old motor is a 1982 motor stock bottom end 0.030" MP 460 cam and springs. The head was milled 0.060" no porting, some bowl work. Since I sold my 390 holley carb I was running a 600 holley for that weekend which is too big. The best time I got running that motor with the 390 holley was 15.39 @ 95 MPH. |

can you tell me what your compression is? I am also interested in how much overlap your cam has, and what your head flows at. I have had allot of headwork done, and my cam is large, so I am wondering if a charger is out of the picture for me. I have asked around and not many people have put a charger on so no one can answer my questions on how much is too much. |

The cam was ground at 114 deg LSA. as for the head flow numbers I'll have to get back to you, can't find the sheet at the moment, it flows quite well. |
