After less than two years my NOS wires are breaking at the hard plastic part under the rubber disc/stoppers that cover the spark plug tunnels.

I sure like the ay they cover those tunnels, but not the breaking. Any suggestions for good kits? I'd really like to avoid crimping my own wires.

Thanks,

Joe

The covers should be replaceable.

I used VW covers on non-NOS wires.

Er-ummm...

...there are no hard plastic parts on any original-equipment spark plug wires. The OE boots in all years were rubber. If they're behaving like hard plastic, they are well and truly cooked.

Use Magnecor wires.

Thanks for the tips. Magnecors are a bit out of my price range at the moment, so I went with some Autolites that the parts store could get easily. They seem to make a difference.

Always appreciative of the expertise available,

Joe

I am using some Accel wires that I got cause they were on discount price. Are the wires any good?
