Ross Gibson is a supplier of 1/25 scale model engines and is especially interested in Mopar engines. A stock slant 6 has been previously available, but he recently released a Slant 6 Hyper-Pak model. It is item # RGE-111 and is available at hobby shops or you can look at it at www.detailmaster.com. Click on Ross Gibson Engines, then scroll down the pictures. Also, comes complete with A-833 4-speed! |

Hmmmmm! Thanks, Ken.....I've been meaning to get one of the Gibson slants, and now it looks like I better move and get both. (Maybe it'll convince him to keep making them.) Roger |

The original Ross Gibson slant was based on the Slant that was in the AMT/MPC Deora and had an automatic. The Deora has recently been re-released and is available at most Wally World(Wal-Mart) stores for about 10.00,I bought the three that our local store had. Model King has re-released the Linberg 64 Plymouth Belvadere from a few years ago that has the best 1/25 scale Slant that I have ever seen and has a separate bellhousing/trans(Linberg offered this engine in the 64 Dodge 330 as a automatic) which looks to be what the new Ross Gibson engine is based on. The 64 Belvadere costs between $15 and $25 depending on where you find it.It is a hobby shop or mail order deal that is not offered in chain retal stores. I have already built a HyperPak but with Dutra Duals just like the one in my fullsize 60 Valiant and installed in a Revell 62 Valiant(another great kit with an acceptable slant -wonder if the tooling still exists?) and painted it to match my 60. I currently have 6 complted Slant powered models with 4 more slant6 engines waiting in the wings for future models, now if a model manufacter would just release a well detailed mid sixties A-body. If ya'll have read this you now realize that I have absolutely no life ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() But at least I have fun!!!! HyperValiant |

Wal-Mart has a website. You can locate the item, to see which store has it in stock, or order from the site. |

Jeb,if it helps any,the Deora still has the same box art as the late 80's release and still has MPC on the box even though mpc has been absorbed by AMT.The stock number is 38437. HyperValiant |
