How much does a slant 904 Torqueflite weigh, roughly? Is it an easy one-man lift and carry?

I am the original 98 lb weakling, and I can lift and carry it. Not easily, but I can pick it off the floor and put it on the bench, or lift it out of a truck, and put it in the shop.

They are pretty light, but I still use a jack when I put one in or take one out of the car. If you're moving one around taking the torque converter out helps.

If you are dropping it out of a car, it really helps to have a jack, or a big gut.
They are pretty light, and won´t break more than a rib or two.

Trans and torque converter are around 125lbs (55-60kg). I generally use a jack and lift it down off the jack when it's near the ground.

Thanks for the responses. I just bought one off eBay, and have to pick it up from the elderly lady seller. I'm guessing she probably won't be able to help me load up the car by the sound of her.
