Hey guys, I have a little electrical issue with my '69 Dart. Sometimes the front turn signals and the dash indicators work normally with the headlights both on and off. Sometimes, they work normally with the headlights off but when I turn the headlights on, the left dash indicator stays lit full time and the front left amber signal goes out. When I hit the turn signal, the dash indicator begins to flash but the amber signal remains dead. No issues at the back of the car. My first guess would be the headlight switch but can anyone tell me if there is some other likely cause? |

I would start with cleaning the grounds and terminals for the turn signal bulb, then making sure you have the correct bulb in the socket and make sure that it is oriented properly in the socket. From there I would look at the turn signal switch and the headlight switch. |

Well, I cleaned the corrosion out of the socket and while I was doing that I realized the ground wire wasn't even hooked up. Problem solved. |
