Napa, my favorite part house has failed me today, no listing for a Ider arm and centerlink. Do we have a source for these? |

The center link is a non-wear item. The idler arm for '67 is unique, hard to find and therfore expensive. A lot of people have installed later K-members for this very reason. |

The 67 Barracuda Idler Arm is a one year part - But it looks like you can still get it. There is a company named Rare Parts Inc. that specializes in older steering and suspension parts. They still have the 67 Barracuda idler arm in their list - PN 20218. They want 168 dollars for it ... But autozone shows it, the same rarepart's part for 88 dollars. So save some bucks and order it from AutoZone. |

I am considering a K-member change mainly to get the spool type motor mounts. The more common idler would then fit the new K-member. I might just pay for the idler and make some sort of torque strap for my pancake style mounts. Has anyone made a torque strap for the /6? What are the differences between my idler and the others? Can anyone show me a pic to compair to the parts house one before ordering? Theres has 2 bolt holes and mine just looking at it for a sec under the car has 1 stud type mount. |
