After a 4 month wait, my brother finally got his C-5 small bolt pattern wheels from Coy's for his '67 Barracuda: ![]() 17x7" front, 18x7" rears. He received the 18's within a few weeks, but had to wait on the 17's. I figure they (or their supplier), like Clifford, wait until they have a large enough order before they forge the wheels. Worth the wait? I dunno, but I think the wheels look GREAT. Just wanted to share, for those looking for another SBP option. |

I think the car would look better 2" lower and without the wheel lip moldings. |

Those wheels look like the ones that come stock on some late model Dodge trucks. They look good on the 'Cuda but a little large for my taste. |

They look like Torque Thrust II's. Maybe 1" lower and I am undecided about the wheel well trim. None the lest it is a great looking car. Whats the emblem or decal behind the front wheel on the front fender? |

Yeah, and I LOVE Hot Wheels! ![]() ![]() Quote: How heavy are those things?
He didn't weigh 'em, but having picked them both up, I can say they felt like less than the 14" steel Rallyes he pulled off. (and guess who got those?) ![]() Quote: Whats the back spacing on the rears and rubber size?
4.5" backspacing, and I think they're 245/40-18's on the back, 215/45-17 front.Quote: I think the car would look better 2" lower and without the wheel lip moldings.
I agree. My brother said clearance was pretty tight on the front fender lip already, though. Makes me appreciate the longer wheel openings on my Swinger — never really noticed the difference before.Quote: Whats the emblem or decal behind the front wheel on the front fender?
I think it's just the stock "V-8" emblem, but I'll check. It may go without saying, little brother's car is NOT a slant. It's got a modified 360. My main concern was to show off some affordable SBP wheels that (I think) look really nice. Be advised that, although the wheels are listed on the website for $200 each (in grey powdercoat), they charge another $25/wheel to drill the SBP. I actually ordered these exact same wheels a few hours before my brother did, but after waiting a month and a half, I needed money for other things so I cancelled my order. For their part, Coy's credited my card immediately (about as fast as they charged it when I placed the order). |
