Hi guys, I found a stash of 10 inch 23 spline A833 10 inch clutch disc, pressure plate and throwout bearings sets for about $60 shipped to you in original packing if anyone is interested in a few. I know this post may be movable to "for sale" but I was thinking to do it like the T5 deal and if 6 or 8 were wanted, get them and move them along to our gang. I am really torn about I oughta get two more for the shelf and probably will since I have been having my wierd clutch chatter from another set. I am putting one of these new ones in my truck this afternoon. Borg Warner 3 finger plates, btw. rock '64d100 |

Are these new or remanufactured? The cover is Borg and Beck, how about the plate? What brand is the TO bearing? Thanks! |

will fit my car I'd buy it right away. I have a cast iron bellhousing and the flywheel came drilled for a 9.25" borg and beck type PP. If it fits, I'm in. |

If these are the 10 inch B&B covers for the 122 tooth flywheel (10 5/8 cover mounting bolt circle) then I would be in for one at that price. DD |

OK, this is the specs I need too. I'd be in with at least one.

| Post subject: | Hi guys, not abandoned, just laying underneath! |
OK, As to specs on clutch...three finger presssure plate, 23 spline, 10 inch disc. I popped a set into the truck (A833OD with stock OD bell) this weekend with NO trouble at all and took Doctor Dodge's advice to use the allen head bolts for the pressure plate..MUCH easier than saying nasty things over hex head bolts close to the pressure plate. (In fact with this disc the tranny slid in easier than I am used to , and I like eashy since I have no tranny jack except my forearms! The sets were/are sold by Sachs and come with new throwout bearing, pressure plate and clutch disc. I don't have the Sachs number right at hand but you can see the set on their web page. I called Sachs and asked before I bit on buying at such a steep discount (NOT from Sachs) They come in the factory shrink wrapped package that has the cardboard backing you see on the Sachs page but the backing is torn off for mailing in smaller package. Disc is still wrapped in the protective stuff. I see they have a marking they are rebuilt in Mexico and are not stamped Borg and Beck or B&B, but sure look like Borg and Beck. They have the orange weight springs in the pressure plate. In that nearly $60 delivered to you price I was estimating in $30 for postage, and I sure don't think it would be that much. As much stuff as is made in Mexico now for car manufacturers trying a set at $60 didn't scare me, and as over stocks instead of $200 new, I bit. I think my source still has 6, so if the same folks are still interested, lemme know again and I will get em in the order y'all spoke up before. I am gonna get me two more for the shelf cause the proof was in the driving for me and I am a spare parts junkie! Now to see if the clutch chatter that started it all is gone after I drive a while. I found the yoke angles at tranny and pinion were different from each other by a few degrees since I had to fabricate a cross member and put in a complete 489 case 3.91 positraction rear end including axle housings and springs. Also, my bearing in the crankshaft was not perfectly vertical in the crank. Hope fixing these did the deal! rock '64d100 |

Forgort to say, yep, I use a 122 tooth flywheel with the 10 5/8 bolt circle. I pulled my B+B pressure plate off to put this one on. Argentina, Last year a forum member told me the 10 inch disc fit the 9 1/4 PP so I bought a set from another forum member. He told me the 10 inch nearly touched the PP and it he was right and "nearly" proved to be not touching and it never did touch. Still, we are talking 1/16 to 1/8 inch clearance..close but fine for me. If that close worries you, be warned.. I used brakeclean to remove the new protective stuff from both the TOB and PP for good luck, and the TOB came lightly greased on its interior. Mailing package is a USPS size parcel box. rock '64d100. |

OK, if it fits the bolt circle on a 122 tooth flywheel I'll take 2 if there's enough for anyone wich had claimed to be interested. If stock ain't that much I'll take one and let the folks have each their own. Nothing more annoying than having the car sitting over other person's greed for stocking new parts. |
