Actually they will physically fit, but many here don't believe it is a safe practice. I haven't driven long distances this way myself, but I have used them to roll project vehicles around the yard. Some say they use them and they work fine. Hub centric versus lug centric, etc... Lots of varying opinions on this one. |

First of all, 100 mm is about .062 less than 4" so the pattern is about 1/16" off. That doesn't sound like much but it's enough to cause vibaration and possibly breakage of the wheel studs. Also, most 100mm wheels are designed for FWD cars so the offset and backspacing is unlikely to be optimum for a Mopar A-body. Will they bolt up? Yes. Will they give optimum performance and safety? Probably not. |

"Just because they fit, doesn't make them right." (Tag line for some auto parts chain ad - with a photo of a hairy beer-bellied man wearing Speedos.) |

Almost, not quite.Quote: many here don't believe it is a safe practice.
'Cause it ain't.Quote: Some say they use them and they work fine
Who's ever said that? I don't believe I've ever seen anyone post here to that effect.Quote: Hub centric versus lug centric, etc.
...wrong offset, wrong bolt circle...Quote: Lots of varying opinions on this one.
Nope, no opinions involved. Just one fact (it's not safe) and some people who don't understand that fact.If anyone objects to my tone, please keep in mind that this is a literal life/death matter. There is no room for guesses and opinions not based in fact. |

Well I guess that settles it. Thanks for all the answers, I guess will bolt them up tomorrow - NOT. Seriously, thanks for the help. Geoff |
