| Post subject: | Handheld tachometer? |
Can anyone recommend a handheld tachometer? Has anyone tried any of the multimeter-types such as the Kal-Equip versions? Just curious if anyone had one that they recommend before I buy something. Thanks guys! |

Kal Equip, Sunpro, and Actron are all the same company now. Same products across the board just different badges essentially. You have to look for available features (least expensive-less features) I had a plain-jane Actron digital that was more than adequate for most any job. The better models of the line include useful, although, not essential functions like min/max readings, data memory, data hold, back-lit display, inductive pick up, auto range etc. Look on the company website(s) for a full description of each model. As far as price goes, think like everything else- what you can afford -a bicycle and a mercedes will both get you from point A to point B its just a question of how much money you want to spend. |
