Ok, so I prefer a base model truck to some degree, but I've gotta get the beast stopping with a little less effort  Can someone recommend the upgrade options or interchange possibilities. I would appreciate it very much.

So a booster, correct M/C, intake fitting and hose. What about my exsisting pedal an linkages. I might know of a parts truck to get it. Is V-8 auto. OK????

Yes, the V8 pieces should interchange. Personally, I just left my w/o the power assist. Once they were all adjusted and bled out right, I actually prefer it to power brakes; the feel is just much more confidence inspiring to me.

Edit: I can't spell.

Good Point.. My system is in good shape but would likely benefit from what you said. Especially since upgrade is not top of the list.

i have an 82 and really like the manual brakes on mine....not high effort really.

i have had power as well, and as far as 'stopping' power i can't tell the difference. i do have to push more for equal stopping, but one doesn't stop quicker than the other.

sb
