Does any one now the production numbers or a site that shows what was built up there for that year. It is a slant 6 car but had the old head on it cast #2206035-1, Don't know that this means any thing but would like hear anything about the canadian built cars. I was'nt born when these cars were built so i have no clue where to look any help would be great. |

The head was swapped sometime in the car's past. |

That head is a pre 68 piece right? And is not a good piece to try opening up for more flow, bigger valves etc. I have two of the newer heads and if it is easier to work on the new heads, i'll trash the old head. Not worth the effort i'm guessing? |

It really doesn't matter too much which head you start with. People make a big deal about late/early castings, but MANY racers who go in the 12s and lower use the early heads. I have one on my quick street car (low 14s/high 13s on pump gas). You may get a slight advantage with the later head style, but it is not huge. Lou |
