Just a quick Slant six trivia question for the experts ( Doc ?, Dan ? Anybody ? )

What color was the special offset air cleaner that came with the Hyper pack kit back in 1960 ? It looks black in the old (black & white) pictures.

Thanks in advance for the help .... V.

Somewhere around here, I have an excellent reproduction of the "Valiant" decals that was found on the air cleaner or valve cover...

Dan ...
That sounds cool, I have an old photo of a Hyper-pack six on an engine stand with a flat max wedge style air cleaner wearing a stylized "Valiant" decal. Maybe it's the same one.
I managed to locate the round offset air cleaner with 2 mounting studs from a 1960 413 longram intake, Talking to my Chrysler 300 friends it appears this is the filter that was borrowed for the Hyper-pack. It sure is a dead ringer for the one in the Hyper-parts photos I have.
If you have a spare decal you can afford to trade off please let me know. I am creating the exhaust pipes now and hope to have the intake and carb on soon after. I still have to create that crazy rod style throttle linkage  . Then I can post a couple digital photos.
.... Thanks, Gary V.

Yep, same one. When I get back from AZ-NY-DC late this month I'll see if I have a spare.
