A guy at work told me about a junk yard that has a lot of older mopar stuff from the seventies and eighties. Is there a way to visually tell the difference between a 198 and a 225? I'd like to get some extra 198 rods if this old man has some.

Only if the engine hasn't been molested.

There's a boss on the top of the block in the machined surface that mates to the head. It is behind the alternator, beneath plug #1.

Bring cleaning stuff and a flashlight. Some of the stamps are pretty hard to read.

If there are a lot of slants- don't waste your time looking at cars w/AC units unless you can't find a 198.
