Car Model:
After sitting for more than a day or so when I go to start the /6 in my '78 half ton it takes a long time to start (fuel starvation). I disconnected the fuel line from the carb and hit the starter before trying to start it, and I get fuel immediately as soon as it starts turning over. To me this validates that the fuel leak is internal to the bbd carb. Has anyone experienced this before? I've been through this carb numerous times in the recent past, but nothing has solved this problem. I'm concerned about the gas leak washing down the cylinder walls. Thanks-Mike
