Hello, I need help knowing the proper size cam I should use. I want some more "pop" for my '70 Dart /6 but it is used only as a street machine. Currently the set up is: head has been milled 50 thou with new valve job, has super six set up w/ Dutra Duals, converted to electronic ignition (Mallory distributor), hotter coil, rear is a 7 1/4 sure grip with 3.23 ratio. I previously had Clifford intake and headers with Holey 390 ,but never could get it to run right. Sold all this stuff off except for the Clifford 264 cam still in it. No more Cliffored for me. The car is running pretty good now but I keep hearing about the use of diferent cams and a "270". Could this help me with a little more more from the stop light. thanks to all for any help.

Yeah, for the money and hassle involved with a cam swap, I don't think you'd be gaining much with a 270. Anything more than that and you're gonna need to start looking at a custom converter or manual tranny.
