Is that a 225 crank and 198 rods? What pistons, and compression ratio?

Hello Charrlie, yes 225 crank, and 198 rods. As far as the compression 10 to 1 is what I am thinking. DON

Don't you think that's a bit much for a turbo motor? I would suggest you measure things to make sure of the actual compression ratio, before final assembly.

How much is to much! We have many 10 to 1 cars here and running more than that with Turbo. Why the concern?

I didn't say it was too much, just asking what you thought. Like you said there are many turbo cars running 10-1 and higher. It is just that the higher the compression ratio, the harder it is to tune, and optimize, at boost levels of 10 psi and up. There are a limited number of people that are able to do so. There are factory turbo cars, that have been engineered to work, by both the factory, and the after market, but the slant has no such support. If you have the ability, yourself, or someone that can do it, go for it. I would like to get to that point, myself.

Just wanted to bring up that point, as there are many people on this site, with widely varying levels of expertise. Don't want anyone to get in over their head.

PS: I would like to meet up with you, sometime to discuss a high compression turbo system, and see your work in person.
