I have a '66 B 8 3/4" housing/brakes/axles. And open 3:91 chunk of unknown vintage. What to look for when assembling and problems. (whole axle needs disassembled cleaned) What will it take to put under the Duster? Can I use my present drive shaft and universal joint? |

You might be able to use the U joint, it will depend whether or not the 8 3/4 is a 7260 or 7290 joint. The driveshaft will have to be shortened a bit. You will need to relocate the spring perches. This is what I did when I had an early B axle in my 70. |
