I'm about to purchase a 67 Dart with a 225 that needs an engine rebuild. i cant seem to find any websites that sell rebuild kits, except for one. Flatlander Racing. the master kit is $375. does anyone know anything about this company? are they any good? please help! thanks!

I bought their kit about a year ago. Their service was responsive, the shipping quick and the parts are all name brand.

Being in a big city like atlanta, find an engine rebuilder kinda' like these guys here in SA:

i was able to build my short block (not including cam) for under $300 using these guys and their parts. (clevite bearings, hastings rings, felpro gaskets, melling oil pump) i don't remeber the brand on the pistons, but they were $6 each.

now, the head alone cost more than that, but that is a whole 'nother story. and the cam was almost as much, too. (Erson 270)

cool! i'll check out both options. i'd much rather just buy a running engine from someone but i cant find anyone around me for that either. i appreciate the info. if anyone else wants to put in their two cents, please do. thanks. guys.
