Anyone know what kind of machine work would have to be done. I came across a set of pistions and they are a good bit larger then stock Sl6 pistons.Any ideas would be great. Thanks. TJ

Even if they could be made to work, I'd have reservations. The piston design on the 3.0 was a big part of its eternal problems with high oil consumption. Yes, the valve guides dropping down in the head were a bigger contributor, but even with the guides fixed the 3.0 was prone to being a blue smoker because of the ring package and narrow ring lands on the piston.
