Looking For Ways To Expedite My Morning Warm-Up...

Seeing That My Engine Did Not Come From The Factory With A Clutch Fan, Would It Be A Bad Idea To Install One From A Later Model; Say, An Aspen Or Diplomat?

Thanks In Advance

If it will fit a clutch fan has a lot of benefits. Faster warmup, better fuel economy, and increased power are among them.

I use a 6 blade clutch fan of a late 70s Mercedes 280. It is the only clutch set up that I could find to fit! The clutch is recessed into the fan blade, and it is a perfect fit.

car-parts.com will be able to locate one for you. The replacement clutch is $185 from Rock Auto, so finding a used is the cost effective way to go.

Oh it is a 1970 Dart Swinger.

I think keeping my stock (solid-mounted) 4 blade is the mose cost effective way to go.............
