Post subject:  Looking for prints

I'm looking for prints of a 225cu.in. Mopar slant six (block and heads), found you guys after googling around a bit...figured I'd try here.
Even some measured drawings of just the top of the block would be nice.
I'm doing some engine design and am basing some of it on this practically-indestructible engine.
Anybody got anything I could use--or point me in a direction?

***EDIT***
P.S. Sorry if this has already been asked, or is in the wrong place, but I did some quick forum searches and didn't see anything.

Please give us more info. on the project you are working on.
Is it a inline six? What kind of vehicle will it be used in?

It's a racing application based on a 225cu. in. slant six from an 80's(?) volare (I believe it's the same engine used in the low-end 70's dusters?)...not sure exactly what year. I'm designing custom racing heads to be either cast or custom milled (I have the facilities to do either). Prototyping will probably be milled and tweaked until I feel I'm at a point where I want to work up some proper castings.
However, I'd like to avoid having to completely reverse engineer the top of the block and the heads (which I currently do not have...short on money right now) if there are already drawings available somewhere.
Sorry about the secrecy, but I'm really hoping to go into production and would like to keep my cards a bit close to my chest until then.

It sounds like the same project I am working on....
Send me a PM (to Doctor Dodge) and we can discuss this in more detail.

Holy Smoke the Holy Grail for Slant Six heads. Is it going to be cast or machined. Me a Dumb Asz I thought any thing milled had to be cast first. Can You mill a head and not cast it if so your good. Thanks Ron Parker :D

@Ron: Yes, you can machine anything directly from solid blocks of metal if you don't mind the time. This is often done in prototyping situations because you don't necessarily want to invest time in making castings for a one-off part. An example of this would be engine heads made from "solid billet aluminum" (I believe Hooker and Dart make some of these type heads for Chevy and Ford folks.)
Here's a link with some pics and a bit of explanation (not sure of the article's quality/clarity, I just googled it and sort of skimmed it).

Another route you can go is to make rough castings and then just machine them to finish the important surfaces. This is the way the traditional heads are made because you save a lot of machining time once you have a finalized design if you just have to finish some surfaces (e.g. valve seats, freeze plug holes, etc.)
Here's an example of that.

Well dukduk i understand all of what you stated in your post You stated you can do both cast them and machine them that is real good for us can you do both. Thanks Ron Parker :D

So, nobody knows where to get any prints?

I might be able to grease somebody's palm a bit if they can come up with something.

Anybody have a junk head they'd be willing to part with for cheap. How much would something like that cost? I've heard <$200 for a complete junkyard engine?

Where are you located. Used heads are fairly cheap, but shipping could be a deal breaker. Even "core" engines can be found cheap.
