I found one local, I think for cheap. I want to swap it into my 73 Swinger, anybody know if this is a viable swap?

what gear ratio is it?? It dont have the split hubs like the early 60s 8-3/4s many Jeeps did. Measure it drum to drum to be sure. It'd be plenty strong if it would fit and parts are readily available since this axle is so common in the 4X4 market.

It doesn't matter. I just got an email from the guy and it is 45" from hub to hub. Way too narrow. :?
