I was driving my car yesterday and noticed my radio started turning off off when turned my blinker on. The radio would come back on in a couple of seconds. Later in the day, my car started to run rough. Last night on my way home, my radio turned off and did not come back on and my lights started dimming. I did not notice it being harder to start during the day. Could this be my alternator going out?

Put a vom meter on the battery posts and see what the voltage is when the car is running. Should be 12.5 volts to 13 volts. If it is 12 volts or lower i would suppect a alternator. If that voltage is consistnt i would check elsewhere ie voltage reg bad ground or cables. Thanks Ron Parker :D
