As the supply of new 2-bbl carbs dries up and as cores wear out, it would be the perfect time for a company like Edelbrock to manufacture a line of modern 2-bbl carbs. I'd pay the price they currently charge for a 4-bbl, if the product was new, efficient and reliable. Anyone agree? |

Even a small weber like 32/36 DFEV/DFV etc and is 2 barrel progressive, 38/38 for allout race/power at expense of fuel, if you have to have emissions to pass, 32/34 DFT. I have 32/36 DFEV weber for my 2.2 caravan to replace horrible holley 5220. For others, pair of small downdrafts using 2 x 1 intake. Tuning stuff is out there and tools to service them. Weber have 2 ways of using choke, one is classical choke butterfly and other one is chokeless system using manual enrichment valve that lets in rich mix after the closed throttle butterfly for starting. Attaching to the intake is not a problem, use adapter plates. Cheers, Wizard |

You may have better luck with Barry Grant . He is now making 6 PAC carbs that look like they can be made (center carb) to retro fit. |

I thought the Carter B&B were 340CFM, as used on the VE, VF Valiant with the 160HP donks??? I know this is Australian models, don't know if yas had them there. The VE had a front end like a Dart of the 67 or 68 model. |

I think Edlebrock should make a S/6 aluminum head with bigger valves and better flow suited to the 3.7L, oh, for about $850 complete. Dream on. |
