| Post subject: | Leak From Dipstick? |
Hey Guys&Gals, Seems everytime i take a hard turn my tranny leaks from sumwhere on top..is it possible that i could be leaking from the dipstick"thingy" <-- dont know the word..heh or is there sumwhere else on top that it could possibly leak from? |

have you checked fluid level in "N", hot after going though all gears? FSM Most common problems with fluid pushing out the fill tube: Overfill of trans- remove/drain extra fluid Plugged filter- time for a new filter Plugged breather- behind converter above pump Areated fluid- air leak in or around pump..... Were are the signs showing up, firewall? air movement in the engine bay can cause fluids to show up were they would not normaly be. Hard cornering to the left might push fluid out, but it would have to be really hard and for long time frames, slopping fluid to one side, pulling air into the filter and causeing areated fluid....... |
