RadioShack isn't what it used to be... Anyway, if you can find a little barrier strip, that would provide an easy and reliable junction point. It's just a block of plastic with eyelets and screws and doesnt' cost much. The current you need for the gauges is small, but I would stick with #14-16 wire just so it's less likely to get broken. Grounding at the column ought to be fine IF the little jumper from the column to the dash is in place! |

In my 75 Dart I ran a 14g wire from a barrier strip I have mounted near the battery to one of the 1/4 studs that holds the steering colum up. Then I put a small jumper wire to other stud. Any wires that need grounding in this area go to one stud or the other. thanks jeff |

you can run all your lighting wires together no problem. just like your grounds. I recommend that you install the lights to your dash dimmer on the headlight switch. then your aftermarket and stock gauges all dim together. an inline fuse is also a good idea. |

Thanks for the replies. I will not have any stock gauges left when I am done. What amp fuse would you recommend?
