I am looking for some touchup paint for my Dart. I don't have access to any HVLP guns right now, so I am looking preferably for a rattlecan or maybe a small can of paint. My Dart is kind of an odd brownish-yellow color, as shown here: ![]() Click here for a closeup of the hood and side area. Nothing major; there's a scratch across the trunk that needs attention, and a few nicks and dings. Thanks in advance! |

I wouldn't say it's an odd color. ![]() ![]() |

Any auto body and paint supply store (where the body and paint guys go for their paint and supplies) can supply what you need. The paint code is available via www.autocolorlibrary.com , but the paint supply place will have it, too. Thing is, though, going by the paint code only really works until the paint job is a few years old. After that, it'll have faded and sometimes the colour will have shifted. The good paint supply places have a handheld electronic scanner which, pressed firmly up against a painted panel and activated, gives the paint code for what the colour actually is (right now, today, not the day after the car was painted). The paint can be mixed and put into a spray can which'll usually cost around $9 to $12. |
