| Post subject: | windshield washer foot pump thrashed -- plz help |
having very little luck here on my own.. trying to find replacement for the windshield washer foot pump in my '68 Dart. The rubber is fine but the check valves are completely thrashed and worthless. I see some listings on eBay but they all look like they're probably in the same condition as the one I've got. Again, the rubber is fine-- its the plastic check-valve piece that needs to be replaced.. YearOne has nada for me.. same for Layson's Any help would be much appreciated... Thanks |

Just as a thought... pet stores have check valves for aquariums. They go in-line, cost a couple of bucks, and keep the tank from draining into the air pump if the power goes out. Maybe? -Mac |

Maybe? -Mac Good idea, get the rubber flapper type, there's less resistance to flow in the correct direction (the other type is a spring loaded thingie) |
