I have a 1965 dodge dart Gt with the original slant six modified. It has clifford intake and headers with a weber IBF carb. This baby is ready for take off but will not hold an Idle. I read a little about fuel preasure and pumps on the weber carb .com web sight ? Any recomendations on what kind of pump I would need for the job ? How do electronic pumps work with the mechanical pumps ?Any downfalls using these pumps or carbs with the slant six ? |

A webber carb can handle less the 3psi of fuel pressure, otherwise it will flood. There can be multiple reasons why the car will not idle. One of them may be fuel pressure. |
