my 904 has been actin weird lately...when i drop it down into drive it takes off normally...drops out of gear and then cathes really hard and goes again..and then later just for a split second it will do it again...any ideas

Not good. How long has it been, do you know, since the fluid & filter were changed and the bands adjusted?

It sounds like it is low on fluid or "sucking air" past a loose filter.
