In case anyone didn't already know, the Columbus race is moved a month earlier this year.

The dates are now May 18-20. Slant sixes almost always run on Saturday.

Event info can be found at:
http://www.ccevents.com/

This is just days away, so get ready.

Might as well make this a roll call post as well. Feel free to chime in.

Post subject:  Almost there

My Aspen is on the stands as we speak awaiting a gearing change for the trip. Last year, the 3.73 gears where a little too much for highway travel. Otherwise, I don't think there is anything else that MUST be done.

I don't yet know my departure time, but I hope to get out on friday morning/early afternoon.

Greg and Brian are planning on early Friday (last we spoke)

Hope to see lots of you there.

Had a total of 11 cars i think. Ten was all that could make the first round call. The final three were myself, Rodney Hargis and Ronnie from Ohio. Rodney and Ronnie raced with Rodney winning while I had the bye. After my bye run my engine was knockin and found out i I had a broken push rod and was not able to make the final call so Rodney Hargis was the winner. Great cool weather and lots of fun.

Twelve cars made runs on Saturday. We had eleven make 1st round eliminations. John Mayberry did not make first round eliminations due to a blown head gasket. Thanks for the update Norm, sorry about the motor
